What is RMC?
The Rocky Mountain Center for Health Promotion and Education (RMC) is a private, nonprofit corporation located at the base of Colorado's Rocky Mountains. Since 1974, RMC has disseminated comprehensive school health education programs and provided in-service training to educators, parents, and others committed to improving health.
In addition to its strong emphasis on effective health education curricula, RMC provides technical assistance and training on the national health education standards.
Since 1994, RMC has operated a statewide prevention information center, which is available to the general public.
The Rocky Mountain Center has a distinguished board of directors. RMC's professional staff is supplemented by a number of consultant trainers.
