Promoting Health at the Community Level
Promoting Health at the Community Level features seven case studies
corresponding to different multi-site initiatives funded by The Colorado
Trust, one of Colorado’s largest private foundations. Each
case study describes the initiative approach, the type of health
promotion activities developed by community-based grantees, the various
resources and guidelines provided by the foundation, the initial
outcomes of the initiative, and lessons learned. One of the initiatives
covered is the Colorado School Health Education Initiative (CSHEI),
a major project for the Rocky Mountain Center from 1994 to 2000. For more
