RMC Working Well Initiative

working well logo We’ve always thought of ourselves as having a healthy workplace, so now RMC staff members are taking the next step. RMC’s Working Well Initiative is designed to improve the health of our staff, reduce unnecessary health care expenditures, and make RMC an even better place to work.

Vision/Mission:

RMC’s Working Well Initiative promotes healthy lifestyles for staff and their families.

Values:

  • Balance – The Initiative will foster wellness across many realms, including physical, spiritual, psychological, social, emotional, and intellectual.
  • Evaluation – RMC’s Wellness Initiative will use evaluation to develop programs, track progress, and measure outcomes.
  • Inclusiveness – RMC’s Wellness Initiative will take into account the varied needs, privacy concerns, and interests of RMC staff and their families.
  • Support – Through the Wellness Initiative, we will build a work environment that promotes healthy lifestyles.
  • Sustainability – A primary goal of the Wellness Initiative will be to develop programs and policies that are maintained over time.

In May 2008, RMC received recognition from the Wellness Councils of America as a “Well Workplace”.

In this section of our website, we’ll share our stories, resources, and progress with you. Perhaps our experience can help you bring employee wellness to the forefront in your organization.
