Curricula for Tobacco Prevention
The Roadmap to Healthy Schools
The Roadmap to Healthy Schools was developed in response to an identified need for a step-by-step guide for implementing coordinated school health at the building level. The Roadmap is user-friendly, based on best practices, and grounded in the experience of Colorado’s CSH teams. For information on the Roadmap: Click Here.
ALL Guide
The Aligning Learning with Learners Guide: Classroom Approaches to Addressing the Needs of All Youth (ALL Guide) is a web-based diagnostic tool to assess the cultural appropriateness and inclusiveness of health education instruction, assessment strategies and classroom climate. The ALL Guide includes a compendium of strategies and resources, designed for teachers who are interested in enhancing the inclusiveness of their instruction.

Health Education Student Assessment Modules
The following assessment modules have been developed using an Understanding by Design framework (Wiggins & McTighe, 2005), the National Health Education Standards, and concept and skills examples from CDC’s Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool. The assessment modules use formative and summative performance assessments to engage students and assess their knowledge of concepts and skills related to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and the National Health Education Standards. The modules are intended to assess middle school students. The modules have been developed by a team of assessment writers and piloted tested by middle school health educators.
