RMC provides the following resources:
Prevention Information Center
The Prevention Information Center (PIC) is a library and information center providing access to a broad range of substance abuse prevention and health promotion topics. The PIC is funded by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD).
The PIC offers:
- Books and videos for loan to anyone living in Colorado
- A clearinghouse of free government materials available in bulk to Colorado residents. PIC clearinghouse material can be ordered online.
The PIC also offers a page of links to reliable health information on the web.
Please note: The PIC no longer disseminates materials for Colorado’s State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP) . The STEPP fulfillment center for free tobacco prevention materials is available directly at www.steppitems.com.
