Professional Development Opportunities from RMC

For more than 30 years, the Rocky Mountain Center for Health Promotion and Education (RMC) has provided outstanding professional development and resources to support the health of children, youth, their schools, and their communities. RMC works with partners across the nation to improve health education, implement and evaluate a coordinated approach to school health, and to implement effective professional development to ensure healthy outcomes for students.

Known for cutting edge, high quality professional development that supports and enhances school health programs, RMC provides participants with practical tools, proven teaching and training strategies, and the latest sresearch and best practices. All trainings are customized to suit the client’s particular circumstances and needs.

RMC provides training on standards and assessment in health education as well as on a number of different health education curricula. RMC is also the publisher of two curricula:.

RMC also provides training on the following research-based tobacco prevention curricula: Life Skills Training, Choosing Not to Use, Project Towards No Tobacco, and Get Real About Tobacco.
