Aligning Learning With Learners Guide

How to Use the ALL Guide

We recommend that you begin using the ALL Guide by reading the Introduction to Differentiated Instruction and Introduction to Culture and Environment sections. These sections will provide you with information about the underlying principles of the ALL Guide, as well as the foundation you will need to complete the Self-Assessment.

RMC ALL GuideNext, we encourage you to complete the Self-Assessment. You can opt to complete the entire Self-Assessment, covering all aspects of culture, environment, and Differentiated Instruction, or you can opt to complete the Self-Assessment section by section. Your individual answers on the self-assessment will lead you to resources and tools that specifically address your needs.

When you access the Self-Assessment page, you will be asked to create a username and password. This is so you can stop working in the Self-Assessment at any time, review other parts of the site, and return to your Self-Assessment in progress. This will also enable you to take the Self-Assessment more than once and compare your results over time. Your individual results will not be used or viewed by RMC or by any other entity.

Once you’ve completed the Self-Assessment in its entirety or by component, you’ll be offered an analysis of how your classroom strategies support the needs of diverse students, as well as suggested areas for enhancement. Your results page will include direct links to information, tools and strategies for strengthening your practices. We’ve also included a site map so that if you would like to review all of the tools and resources on the site, you have that option.

After you have tapped into the ALL Guide for resources and tools, we hope you’ll take a few moments to complete the ALL Guide evaluation. Your comments and feedback will assist us in continuing to improve this site.
