Healthy Schools Colorado

The Colorado Health Foundation has awarded RMC Health and its partners, the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, $6.8 million over three years to administer grants and provide training and technical assistance through an exciting new program, Healthy Schools Colorado.

The Healthy Schools Colorado grantees: Adams County Region (District 14 and 50), Douglas County School District, Jefferson County School District, Pikes Peak Region (Colorado Springs, Harrison, Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, Manitou Springs, Falcon, Academy 20) and Poudre School District, will implement the Coordinated School Health Model in schools over 3 years. The districts/regions will be required to work with at least 10-15 schools during the first year of the grant. Each subsequent year of the grant, districts/regions will work with additional schools to implement the CSH model.

School Health Index Training – Recorded Webinar

The School Health Index is one of the steps within Phase 1 of the Roadmap to Healthy Schools. This training is for all Healthy Schools Colorado and Student Wellness district/regional coordinators and all school health team members.

School Health Improvement Plan Recorded Webinar

Phase Two of the Roadmap to Healthy Schools focuses on developing a School Health Improvement Plan. This training is for all Healthy Schools Colorado and Student Wellness district/regional coordinators and all school health team members.
