Kate Havlik began working for RMC Health in May 2022 and is the Program Coordinator. She provides program, fiscal, and technical support for RMC Health’s programs, ensuring the organization operates its programs effectively and efficiently.
Prior to joining RMC Health, Kate pursued a B.S. in Nonprofit Management with a focus in diversity and social inequality at the University of Central Florida. While completing her education, she interned with two different health-centric nonprofits, working for the National Alliance on Mental Illness to increase access to mental health education and care, as well as IDEAS for Us, liaising with the international Ugandan branch to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in-country.
Kate has a professional background in business administration, serving several private companies as an administrative assistant. Additionally, Kate has experience in early childhood education, having worked as a nanny to young children for several years. She is passionate about education around whole person wellness, with a particular focus on the intersection of trauma, social inequality, and long term health outcomes.
In her free time, you can find Kate enjoying various creative pursuits, including reading, writing, painting, and making music. She loves traveling and exploring new places through her camera lens, and will never turn down an opportunity to go for a run or a hike through nature.
